I am SO late with this! Sorry about that!! Anyway we had our 4th appointment last Tuesday and it was SO exciting! this was the appointment where we were to find out if our little bean was a boy or a girl. We got there at 2:00, the ultrasound was scheduled for 2:15 and we didn't get in there until 2:45...I was SUPER annoyed because I had rushed to get there and then I had to wait for what felt like forever! I am so impatient...I will learn :) When we were called into the ultrasound room I was so nervous! I was ready to finally know what we were having and had convinced myself it was a girl, well our tech (if that is what she is called) was measuring and taking pictures...all the while I am thinking HURRY UP WOMEN!!!!!! She finally, and very casually, said "IT'S LOOKING A LOT LIKE A BOY" I was thinking in this moment....aww shucks well, I guess there will be no dress up! Oh well I Love him already! So after a few seconds she said she wanted to do another ultrasound in 4 weeks to confirm because it could be a girl with swollen parts...I will post he picture, I think there is NO WAY this is a girl with swollen parts. So that was the exciting part of the appointment. Dr. Carter got called into surgery and we waited for 2 hours to see her so while waiting I got more blood work done Yippie!...not...and she said everything looked great. The only comment she had was that he was 8oz and I was 17 weeks and 5 days so she thinks I may be a week or 2 further along than we thought. We will be measuring and everything at my 30 week appointment to make sure and we may or may not have him early. Michael is of course thrilled about this because that is a possible week or two extra he has before deer season....get a grip buddy not with a newborn! Of course I won't completely limit him ha-ha but he will have to compromise.
IN OTHER NEWS!
I am now 18 weeks and 4 days and my little Parker is just a squirmy worm! most days it is like he is having a little party in there ha-ha and sometimes he only moves a lot when I am about to or in the process of eating and when I am sitting down relaxing. I got home from work the other day and layed down with Michael and he put his hand on my tummy and kind of pushed with his fingers where I told him I always feel movement and it was so funny because Parker pushed him back! I don't know if it was a foot or a hand but it was like he was saying "hey get out of my space here there isn't much room as it is!" ha-ha I was like...Did you feel that! and Michael said yeah...he was not as excited about this as I was, or at least he wasn't on the outside.
here are the latest ultrasound pictures and one of me

Baby Parker 8oz at 17 weeks 5 days

Maybe it is just me but that does not look like swollen girl parts...I see a turtle

me and my, as Michael says, soccer ball belly ha-ha it isn't THAT big yet
