On Saturday I will be 36 weeks, only 4 weeks to go and let me just say I am definitely scared but I think we're as ready as we'll ever be. We had our weekly appointment today, this time I was tested or swabbed as Michael says for Group B Strep. Other than the test I told her about the pain I have been having in my low abdomen, groin, rear end and lower back...she said that it sounded like a contraction to her, they aren't regular and I may go a couple of days without feeling any but at least I know what to expect. Other than that I asked her when we should start getting prepared to go to the hospital (when to pack the bag and when to put car seats into cars) and she said now...she said I am at the end of this and we need to be ready because it is unpredictable! Anyway, my blood pressure was good, Parker's heart rate was 140 so everything looks good so far! We are going back on Tuesday for our last ultrasound to measure him again and from there I hope she can tell us what she thinks we're going to have to do delivery wise. I really don't want a c-section and the only way she'll do one is if he is in the 9 or 10 pound range...I am thinking he is going to be right around 8. Good news! I only woke up once last night! it was great to feel like I had gotten enough sleep for once.
Well that's all I've got for now, I'm afraid that when you're prego that's really all you talk about ha-ha and when Parker gets here it will be all about him :)
