A lot has gone on since Parker was 7 weeks old ha-ha, I went back to work and he started going to daycare. That first day was hard for me but I was glad to be back at work. I take him to daycare everyday and Michael picks him up! We also experienced our first fever and hospital visit last weekend, but he is feeling much better now.
On a happier note! Parker had his first Thanksgiving in Houston this year! We all went to Bebe's sister Bobbie's house to celebrate and it was a lot of fun! We got to see Aunt Brooke, Uncle Stephen and Gavin along with some other family that we don't get to see very often! After lunch Parker and I left to go celebrate with Mimi and Pa Pa Mark, we didn't get to eat any of their yummy food because we were stuffed but I found out that Aunt Donna and Great Granny snuck a taste of mashed potatoes to Parker...On Friday Parker and I went to have another Thanksgiving lunch with Great Grandma and Pa Pa and see that side of the family, it was good to see everyone! Saturday was dedicated to shopping...and I mean the entire day! I have never shopped so much in my life! Needless to say Parker was worn out ha-ha but we got a lot done and after we got back to Aunt Donna's we all were ready to go to bed! When we got home on Sunday evening, Michael was so happy he missed us so much and we were glad to be home with him...no Deer though, we're hoping he gets one soon!
Yesterday my Aunt Donna, Granny, Destiny and her boyfriend Trevor all came to visit, go shopping and watch us last night. Michael Parker and I were lucky to get to be a part of A Night in Old Bethlehem. Michael Parker and I played one of the Mary, Joseph and Jesus' of the night. When we got there we got into our costumes and I fed Parker his dinner, we had hoped that he would go to sleep like he normally does but of course he was not interested in eating or sleeping...whenever we got out there in front of everyone who came to see Jesus, he was screaming. After about 5 minutes I guess that felt like 30 one of the ladies in charge asked if she could get anything for him and got his bottle. It was smooth sailing after that! Parker went right to sleep and we laid him in the manger to be oohed and ahhed over :) It was a lot of fun, and I'm sure baby Jesus cried a few times in his life! it was realistic!
Next weekend my family is coming up for our Christmas party! I am very excited, last year went really well and I hope it goes the same this year, I can't wait!
Here are the pictures from last night
