This post won't be long, there isn't much to tell as it is only 10 in the morning!
After feeding Parker dinner, a bottle and then nursing him around 11:00 last night, we had hoped he would sleep through the night and up until time to go have his surgery... Of course that isn't what happened and Michael and I sat up with him from four until 5 this morning. Parker was not a happy camper, he was hungry and mad because he was not being nursed. When he finally went back to sleep I caught a little nap before Michael woke me up to get dressed. We loaded up into the car and headed to the surgery center at 6:30 and were done at about 9:45. Not the quick visit we were thinking but the actual surgery only took about 15 minutes. Parker was not happy when he woke up and when I got back there he was crying. We gave him some juice and he calmed down but even now he is still a little fussy. He fell asleep in the car and has been asleep for probably an hour, I am hoping he'll go down for another long nap soon and wake up feeling much better!
Here are the pictures we got of him in his little gown, and then on the way home.
I am so glad everything went well!! He's so precious!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin had tubes when she was little as well. It'll help out so much!!! Glad he is doing well so far, and pray for continued recovery, health, and strength!
