Talk About a Plateau

I'm just not happy...plain and simple, I'm tired of this plateau I'm on and it's time to make a change! I'm saying goodbye to number 147.

Last week I realized that I was in need of a change, I felt like I was being super lazy and making way to many excuses. When I looked at my weight tracker and saw how close I was to reaching my 10% goal it was like a slap in the face! I'm only 2 pounds away from a 15 pound loss...why am I slacking? I adjusted a few of my bad habits and I thought I'd made enough of a change last week but I apparently didn't make enough of a change. So I'm going back to my early days and I'm going to be super strict on myself when it comes to what I'm eating. I'm going to stay under my 29 points and I'm going to start walking again.

I need to get out of this lazy slump I've been in! Yes I'm tired, and yes I'm drained but sitting on the couch watching TV isn't going to help any. I'm not happy with how I look...I know I look better than I did, but I'm not where I wanted to be at this point. When I started this program and was on a 1 to 2 pound weekly average I thought, wow! If I keep this up I'll have lost at least 15 pounds by April and I can totally be down to 125 by July...well not so much anymore.

Michael said that everyone reaches a plateau and it's not as easy to lose as it was before...I'm not satisfied with that. So here are my goals for this week and on through May.

GOALS:
* Eat only my 29 points each day, if I go over, don't go over more than 5 points.
* Only go out to eat ONE time a week, Sundays after church
* Resist Easter candy
* Get my activity level up again

WEIGHT LOSS GOALS:
* Lose at least 2 pounds and reach 15 pound goal by April 30
* Lose at least 5 pounds in May (1 pound a week)
* Lose at least 5 pounds in June
* Lose at least 5 pounds in July to reach my goal weight of 125 pounds

So there are my goals...they seem reasonable and I'm really going to do my best to stick with it. Maybe my next plateau will be a lifetime one at my goal weight ha-ha!

Anyone else in the same boat? How are you doing? Are you in a place in your journey that you feel frustrated? Are you super happy with your journey so far? I want to know how your're doing!
